"Cool Friends" School Year Camps
MAKE NEW FRIENDS!
EXPERIENCE NEW THINGS!
HAVE FUN!
Our school year camps look much like our summer camp! We know that just because school is out, parents still need to work. We follow the CCSD schedule, and offer day camps on all days that CCSD is closed. Our experienced team of RBT’s create a fun and engaging environment throughout each day. Sport-Social instructors use ABA techniques to encourage kids to try new things while meeting new friends along the way. We have many kids that only see friends they have made at Sport-Social on camp days.
Our camps take advantage of our 20,000 square foot indoor facility. Fun is the focus as campers rotate through a full day of activities that include sports, art, and games. Ride the ramps or play in the bounce house while being guided by our unique and encouraging team. We provide group and one-on-one lessons so kids of any age or ability have the opportunity to participate and be included, no matter the skill level.

Group Activities
Each day children are placed into groups with their new friends of a similar age and ability in which they will spend the day navigating between activities, breaks, and lunchtime together. Each group will participate in a social class that will allow our dedicated instructors to teach a specifically geared social skill at an appropriate level and maintain this new skillset throughout the day. The practicing of social skills is what helps build kids’ confidence in approaching new peers.
Sports
Music & The Arts
Kids will be involved in either an art or music-based activity every day. These activities include exercising to music, building crafts, painting, dance, drama, and so much more. It’s no secret that children love to check out our music rooms and play on the guitars, drums, and keyboards.
Social Development
In a place where being a “cool friend” is highly rewarded, children are learning quickly appropriate ways to act amongst fellow campers. These social skills are often then applied to the outside world in everyday life.
Breaks & Snack Time
Breaks and snack time are a great chance for campers to practice their newly acquired social skills within a supportive and caring community of friends. Perhaps the best testament to our program is the ability to let instructors stand back and watch as your children take the necessary actions to meet new people and build a foundation for lasting friends. Sport-Social does provide light snacks, but it is suggested that you pack extra snacks along with your child’s lunch each day.
